71T rear brake question

I bought a 71 T that I'm putting a 2.7 RS engine into. I'm in process of upgrading the front strut/brakes to an 89 Carrera.
My question is regarding the rear. The rear calipers need a rebuild as well. Do I just rebuild the rear stock calipers or can a SC caliper bolt on without any modifications (any advantage?)? What are my best options for a drivers ed car? I've been told the stock rears will work just fine with the Carrera fronts, but I just wanted you guys opinion. Thanks

I use Carrera front rotors and calipers with the stock T setup in the rear. Car is powered by a 2.2S and is used 90% on the track. Brakes are not getting nearly as hot as my SC brakes did and pads lasted through 8 DE events with some left to go. Master cylinder is stock as well.

I think the setup is somewhat biased to the rear wheels, as I get more dust from the rears that I do the fronts. Any way to test this?
