Window mechanism
 

Can anyone tell me whether a window mechanism with part no. 911 542 003 43 is for lefthand or righthand windowhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1428326905.jpg

Picture looks like passenger to me. The arms go towards the back of the car. Assuming the mounting on this part is from the visible side (which I think it is) you are looking at a passenger window mech.

So you mean right hand? I'm based in the UK and here cars are right hand drive.

The motor faces forward and the spring faces inside the cab.

OK, I've put in my location and a car image - I'll add a few more when I can find them.

I thought it was a right hand door mechanism, just wanted to be sure as this is one I bought for my car but found it would require the door to be modified so didn't use it. In the end I repaired the original - needed some welding (I think the car was broken into by forcing the window down before my ownership)

Now plan to sell this mechanism. Many thanks for your help.
