Dash Detailing
 

I am about to remove my instruments for much needed bulb replacements and some overhaul. Once I have them out (don't worry guys I have mapped and photodocumented the wiring), I need to clean and properly detailthe metal housing plate in which they are set.

Can anyone give me some hints as to which cleaners, or fade restoration applications to use (short of masking and spraying with rustoleum) so I can get a great new appearance?
