align bore case

Who do you guys recomend to align bore a case? I am leaning towards Ollies $150 plus bearings. German precision? EBS $250 plus bearings. Thanks.

ALL of us guys don't recommend a line bore.....only when needed.
Mag cases have been known to warp. The 2.4L cases are less subject to this.
If one is a bit lucky, a line hone (drag hone) will straighten things up.

*Just* boring the case requires O/S (od) bearings. I was quoted $600 a set.....if my guy could find any......thus the + bearings quote.

Decking the cases, then line boring is another option. Std bearings are used here. Competition Engineering does a bang up job of this, I'm told. Not cheep.
