Does this wheel look like a 9"

I know I know why not just pull it off and check and I will I've just been very busy. Does this look like an original Fuchs 9". The tire on it is a 245/50/16. I really like the way it fills the wheel well. Give me your best guess and I'll post after I pull it off. The option sticker under the bonnet says the car came with light weight wheels but not if they were 7's and 8's or 8's and 9's. Thanks

Could be an 8 or 9 inch. Real Fuchs have the size stamped on the back side of the wheel.

Not 9's, lug nuts don't set deep enough.

They really look a lot wider then the 8" X 16 on the Targa.

They don't look like 9's to me. Maybe 8's.

No need to guess, that is an 8 inch wheel.

The targa does not have 8X16 on it.

What size tire is on it?

Nevermind, I blew up the photo and can see its a 245/50. It's a 9" I'll bet.

This. The wheel pictured is 16x8. The lug holes give it away. Lug nuts are deeper set on the 16x9. Also 245 won't show that much sidewall bulge on a nine. FWIW I have 245s on 16x9s. My wheels have the deep set lug holes. -J

You can find out in less than two minutes with a tape measure. I also say 8".

As several posters above have pointed out, there's no need to guess. The picture 100% conclusively shows that it is not an original Fuchs 9. The lug holes easily prove it.

here's a so-so pic of the sunken lug bolts on a 9 inch wide.

You have an 8 inch rear rim.

If it is a 9, then it is not a Factory 9, again, as others have pointed out the factory 9s (like the 86 951 7&8X16 Fuchs) have recessed lug holes.

The 7&9X16 Fuchs off my cab

7&9X16s on my 78 SC

These are 7&8X16 951 Fuchs off an 86, one year only, notice the recessed lugs.

A close up of the 9X16 on the back of my 914-6GT clone
8X16 911 Fuchs on my 88

As you may have figured out, I have a fetish for Fuchs and NO they are not for sale.
