Have Metallic Garnet Red paint? Post your pics please
I would like to see what mods etc .. look the best with this color paint. I am thinking about tinting my windows getting the Carrera side body graphic and a few other things ... Anyway lets see how many other cars have the same paint color as I do. Thanks in advance for posting.

I have red garnett metalic, 1986. It had all the windows tinted, but I took off the side tint because it was too hard to see in the mirrors, expecially at night. Also 18" wheels, hope this helps.

I bumped into the owner of this Porsche (84) in my little home town of 100 Mile House, which is 50 miles from nowhere. She is from Switzerland and we exchanged e-mails. Anyway, this is her car. I noticed that her Fuchs are colour-keyed to the body paint, which of course is Garnet Red. Its a nice touch, but I don't know if I'll do it.

Interesting that it has the front chin spoiler but no rear? Beautifull looking car though.

I know it's not garnett but it's kiln and a darker reddish color too. This might give you an idea about options for side stripe and wheel colors. I was not a fan of all polish wheels but the painted center and polish was really all I could do myself without sending the wheels off for professional help. When that day comes I'll probably go anodized rim and silver center.

My color is called something like "burnt sienna metallic", which may or may not be the same thing as garnet red. It has tinting, not really heavy but definitely significant.

What's the difference between Garnet Red and Ruby Red? I thought mine was Ruby Red, but it looks just like Garnet red.

Matt,
My '84 is also Ruby Red and looks exactly like yours. Ruby has a hint of brown in it. I actually saw a Garnett 911SC a couple of days ago and there is a little bit of a difference.

Resurrecting a 7 year old post? I'm game
![]() Here is my 86 Garnet Red. Every time I look at it the color is a little different to me, I guess depending on the light - either more red/orangish or purplish hues. Based on the pictures in this thread, it seems that the camera and photo processing make a significant difference as well.
