Power Window Stuck?

Hi,
I have an 89 964 C4.
Yesterday, one minute driver door power window works, next minute it no longer works.
Passenger door window and power sunroof all still work and all other electronics work fine.
Any thoughts?
I just got the car...is there a safety setting I may have turned on?
Fuse is good, when I pull the relay, both driver and passenger do not move...
I had hoped it was something easy like a fuse or a relay...thoughts?
Thanks,
Derek

Here is how it is wired

Window switch is the number 1 suspect.

Swap the 2 switches on Driver's door and see what happens.

If it's the switch, buy only the Genuine Porsche replacement.

The available aftermarket switches will fail in short order.

Congrats on your new 964!

Thank you very much for this. Does the door panel need to be removed to get to the switch?

No pretty easy task .

So do I just pry the switch out from the door panel?

Later today, I will remove the working switch from the passenger door and put it on the driver side to see if this works. Really hoping its not the motor.
Even though the unit on the driver door has two switches built into it, I am guessing I can put in the unit from the pass. door.
Will report back later...thanks.

Yes, you just pry the switch out from the door and using the known good switch from the passenger door to test at the driver's door location is fine. You'll be well advised to make a sketch or notes of the wiring color/locations for each switch before disconnecting any of the wires.

Problem solved...it was the pesky switch. Bought two OEM ones from Porsche, now I have a spare for when one of the other two left stops working. Thanks for the tips and suggestions.
