Am I under Insured?
84 ROW 911 Targa Federalized by AMG and passes SMOG in CA, with an aftermarket paint job that is pretty good, but not great. slightly worn carpeting, some wind noise on the Targa top, which was apparently redone by the PO, and looks OK. 135K on the clock, no rust anywhere, no oil leaks, no smoke to speak of except on start up after a week or two of sitting. I have it insured for $25K. Steve Wong chip and it delivers the stated 231 HP well. The tail is not original but is a real RSR Porsche item. The rubber is soft and pliable.

Yes, underinsursed...
What is the value of a wrecked 85 911?

PCA also has a valuation service if you're a member. Good to have a couple of options on record in case something bad happens.

Hagarty says $25-$30K seems about right. Thanks
PM sent to Todd, and answer received, we'll talk tomorrow. |

Hagerty is close to 6 months behind the actual market. SCs and 3.2s have been on a run for over a year now.

Was driving my 89 the other day . Long story short, SUV sideswiped me. I'm good, car has a crease in drivers door, and a dent on the rear wheel arch. estimate to repair$5,500. If it where Toyota the repair would be $800. I'm upping my value after this event.

As a point of reference, I have my 82 SC and 71 914-6 conversion both at $30K agreed value with American Classic. If either gets totaled, they cut me a check for the full amount. Almost makes the crunch less awful.
