Will, comments like that really devalue your condenser fan idea and push you into the "Reid" category (think, "crackpot"), as it is absolute Tom-foolery to suggest that simply adding small, electric fans to the rear deck condenser (an area that already sees a tremendous amount of air movement) in any measure equals adding/replacing tried and proven a/c upgrade components to the system.

Sorry, but as everyone knows the level of air flowing through the rear lid condenser during consistently low RPM operation on a hot day is quite clearly insufficient.

That's why the addition of the fender mounted condenser/fan is such a "bang up" job.

So ANY additional flow will be of "some" help. So how about a level equal to 2500 RPM..??

Which is what my CFM measurements indicate using my 2 Spal fans. Measurement is an average of 15 points evenly spread across the rear lid condenser inlet area.

I was worried about extra engine heating until I realized that the 930's intercooler and condenser contribute a lot more than the Spal fans that only operate when the engine cooling fan does not suffice.
