Need help with door adjustment
1982 Targa, SC 3.0 (well at least that is how it is titled)
It has had multiple body panel mods. Fiberglass slant front, 935 rockers, 964 wide body rear quarters, etc... All done before my purchase. I removed the doors, hood, rear deck and windshield to paint last year. I put all new gaskets on everywhere (purchased from our wonderful sponsor) Passenger side is very quiet, but I have significant wind noise on the driver side, especially at speed 90+, I have a little gap at the top front(triangle window) but it doesn't seem that's where it is coming from. Looking for suggestions on how to tackle this task. It does look like the door closes in farther then it should at the striker. But it doesn't look like that is adjustable. Any ideas? ![]() |

i'd look at your targa top and not the door. judging from the gap where it meets the windshield it might be the latch needs adjustment. on my cab i get the same wind noise at high speeds and when i pull down at the latch it goes away.
