1983 SC door panels

Hello,

I would like to make the side door panels (cut it from hard-board).
since mine are completely broken, warped - i can not use it as a template.
Anyone has a drawing that shows dimensions/hole position for screws and clips.
(kind of template).
I can not find just the board here in Japan and if I order in US - shipping would be a lot more than double price of panel.
Is the panel same for all SC, 930 and 964? (holes for mounting screws and clips?)
Thanks
stan

Can you post a picture of yours? I was able to use mine as a template even though they were really warped. I just wet them down and put them under some plywood with bricks on top, that flattened them out so they were usable. Most of the holes don't need to be exactly in the right place; there's some amount of tolerance because they're only there so that the screwheads in the door panel don't knock against the door card. Exceptions are the window switch holes, the mounting clips (2 front 1 back on my 82) and the door latch mounting holes (3). Rest can be moved around as needed after drilling. Try building one out of cardboard as best you can with your template/existing cards, mount it up to the car using the clips, and then mark out where your holes need to be.

Also if you get the outside shape correct on your cardboard test card, and then mount your old vinyl over it -- you can use the holes in the vinyl as a guide to where the "important" holes need to go.

universeman, thanks for tip.
I will try to make it wet and use plywood. Hope it will be enough just to get correct main shape.
