sunroof part - where can i get it?

hello

fixing my no operating sunroof, and found that the wind deflector has been broken off (shown in the picture).

Where can I source only this part? as I don't want to pay for a full kit when not needed.

Stan on the e9coupe.com site has been manufacturing high quality repros for BMW coupes; I believe they're the same:

Sounds like he has one left, but I think you'd have to buy the entire deflector. Or maybe he could just manufacture what you need...

Yikes: I just went through the same thing with the drivers' side piece. They are not easy to find, and when you do, they cost a fortune. I contacted every porsche boneyard and only found one, and he would only sell it as a set. $$850 for all three, $350 for a single when they have it seems to be the going rate. I just advertised WTB on this great site, and found one locally! Luckiest part find on my project thus far.

I've bought things from them in the past. Good service. Some of their parts are repros
from China and other places, and some are original/OEM type. I'd give them a try, what can you lose but a few bucks! Or you could place a WTB add on this site's Classified section and you might get lucky. Good luck either way.
