Looking for performance muffler...what to get?
I have a 1974 911, 2.7L, all stock. I'd like to get rid of the old rusty "banana" and replace it with something a little more sporty. Sound is not an issue (the louder the better). I've heard of a few on newer cars for around $250 but can't seem to find anything for my specific car on the net. Any info would be appreciated. I have SSI's.

Weld in a flowmaster. 80 bucks and it's "chick-city"! Yeah, baby.

Cheap and easy.
http://www.911t.org/WklyReprint/modified_muffler.htm Though if the outlets are placed RSR style under 911 bumper over riders the muffler may use more chambers and be a little quieter. The RSR style would require larger diameter outlets too. |
