Cabriolet Linkage 1985

So the cab top finally arrived and appears to fit great. However I can't remember from my old car where the two arms attach. This is a manual system and there are two round arms with a pivot on the end. They are adjustable but I don't know where they attach.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the arms that go under the cover just behind the front seats? If so, I'll go out and take a picture later this morning.

Starting at the bottom where the adjustment arm mounts working to the top

That is the arm but is the part it bolts welded on or does it bolt on. This was originally a cab but the top was removed for a fiberglass hardtop and so I don't know what else might have been removed. It looks like the piece is maybe welded to the body.

Good thing I didn't put the cover back on! The white piece the bolt attaches to on the lower part of the arm is welded to the pillar.

I was afraid it was welded. I think it was cut off to make room for the cage. There are two bolt holes above that. I may try a piece od angle and see it can be made to work that way. I cut the cage out as the top wouldn't fit wit it in.

Well I forgot as compared to another cab I used to have. If the bracket would have still been there I probably would have figured it out. I am not sure if I cut the bracket or it was already gone. The car had fiberglass hard top when I bought it. But I did the cage

I'll double check to make sure it's welded as I took a pretty fast look at it and the carpeting is cut around it. I'll let you know if I see anything any different. I can't see a reason they'd cut it out and I'd think there would be evidence of it being ground or cut with a saw unless they did a REALLY nice touch up job.

Well I think the too is in and working. I just made a bracket out of an old bed frame. Everything seems to work as it should. I will need to adjust the windows a bit to tighten up the seal but the window zips and top latches good and tight. Thanks for the pictures they helped alot. Now I guess I will need to get rid of the hard top.
