Anyone Good With Photoshop? 918 Stripes on 911
Some may think it looks silly, but I think the funky stripe paint given to some of the 918's looks SO cool and modern/retro. Which got me thinking... What would similar stripes on the front fender well only look like on an air cooled 911?
It will either look cool or horrible. If it looks cool I might actually do it with vinyl or plastidip for fun. Extra points if you do it on a Gaurds red 911SC ![]() http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PZL0PFt4-8M/T9cUEmO4g1I/AAAAAAAAWj8/UyIW0clTF6I/s1600/The+Porsche+918+Spyder.jpg |

Street car? Silly.......
Race car, fine. That 918 paint job is in homage to the 917 that won Porsche's first overall win at Le Mans in 1970. That car was red with white stripes. There is a Spec 911 that races here in Northern California that has a derivative paint job of that Le Mans winning 917. It looks good for a race car.

I don't know how you could make it work on a 911's lines, but this is my favorite 918 livery.

Yeah I just don't know if it would fit with the lines. But these 918's have some of the coolest livery I've seen in a long time.
