Card board is really handy.

I fitted a piece of thick cardboard under the front trunk carpet
so it keeps carpet from sagging etc on top of spare wheel,
also helps when placing items inside from marking carpet.And very light
not heavy like other materials.

Great idea... Cheap and effective.

Years ago there was a plastic sheet thing available that did the same thing. I'm not sure what happened but I haven't seen one in ages.

Thanks Bill, a few photos 1984, 2 owner 44000 mls ,all factory stock, body and paint,
really excellent original example, and no this time i just made the purchase, on internet and very pleased with car.This is my 4th, Porsche 911,1969--1972--1979--1984.The first three owned while living in CA, The 1972 i will do a story on it later. Regards Wayne.
