Dealer parts counter surprises me!

I'm pretty sure I've complained here in the past about the local dealer (in Sacramento) who has been known to charge 100% premium on parts, for identical repairs...

Well over the weekend I popped in to get a few odds and ends. I asked (just to check) if they had any tires that might fit another Porsche I own with unusual sizes - surprisingly, he said they might have some in stock, but suggested I could get a much better price through tirerack.com.

I asked about spark plugs too - I knew what Napa charged for Bosch, and wanted to double check. He asked how many miles on the car, and suggested I probably didn't need them yet.

Points for honesty!
