70S - two easy questions!

I have my refurbished throttles, injection lines and linkages installed and about ready to fire it up. I have 2 minor questions that I can't find photos or descriptions for and the PET is fuzzy:

1) the fuel injector lines have a little steel clam-shell clamp (911 110 333 00). My car had them on both sides and they were related with my fuel lines. I know where it re-installs on the right side but can't figure out where it goes on the left side without interfering with the throttle linkages. On top of that, the parts catalog only shows one of these on the right side so maybe there isn't supposed to be one on the right side?

2) I can't figure out how to route the spark plug wires on the right side without interfering with the throttle linkages.

Does anyone with a similar sit-up have any photos to help please?

thanks,
Michael

I gather we are talking MFI?

For the clamp if possible you can zoom in on the rear of my pump and you can see the clamp. It's down to approx. the same height as the fuel intake.

As for the plug wires... I found the best is to go under the throttle linkages.

Again, if you can zoom in you can see what I mean.

This is on my 73 and I have no idea to historical accuracy if that's what you are really looking for.

Thanks, yes the 70S has its original MFI. These photos helped a lot, thanks!

cheers,
Michael

If your wires are long enough run them around the rear like this.

They should go under the injection lines and throttle linkage on the right and around the front on the left, as in sway bar's picture above. Do you have the rubber blocks that plug into the engine shroud?

Thanks gents.

RSTarga, yes I do have the rubber blocks. I'll have to take a look at how to squeeze the right side under everything. The left side is all set. Those rubber blocks look like the wire is fed through holes in them so they must have been inserted before the connectors were put on each end. Does that make sense?

cheers,
Michael
