Windscreen dimensions

Has anyone got a windscreen out of their car that they could measure please?

Dimensions top to bottom would be a great help.

Background I suspect that the windscreen I have is slightly smaller top to bottom as I am having difficulty installing it using an OEM seal. It is either the screen is too small or the hole is too big!

Thanks in advance,

Neil

Neil,
I'm bumping up your question. Hopefully somebody will chime in. Im not quite ready to order the windscreen for my build but I'll measure the "hole" for you on mine and post.
BTW, are you certain that the glass is centered both vertically and horizontally? I am planning to mark both the glass and frame at centre top, bottom, and sides to assist in a proper fit.
There is another thread on the installation issue currently active in this forum. Perhaps you could PM him.
I'll post tomorrow.
Cheers,
Johan

Hi Johan, I have managed to get my windscreen fitted by using a little packing strip where the screen was not fitting. Using plenty of lube (Vaseline) and my wife assisting it worked.

I was feeling very brave and removed the windscreen!

I think the screen naturally centres as it is roped in. I would be interested in the dimensions of other people's screens so that I may confirm that mine is on the small size.

Cheers and the best of luck with your build.

Neil
