Hi guys the passenger foot well is super hot there is no fans working it's just really hot where can this be from I just reinstalled the engine.
The fans aren't working the knob between the two seats is at zero when I put the knob to on or the fan kicks in after like 10 seconds
Thank you guyshttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1431118659.jpg

Heat

If the box is a 0 to 10 unit, pull passenger seat and there is a port to look into. Inside there is an arm with a nylon or plastic connector on each end. One end will possibly be broken causing the system to not work as this arm rotates and opens and closes the flapper box under the chassis. Fatigue of the plastic is the problem but amplified by dirt in the steel wire sheath along the transmission to the flapper box.

+1 flapper box is open.

Look under the car if the ports are closed that means hot air from the engine is getting into your cab.

SO it appears your auto climate control is on the fritz.

Quick update the right side is the one with the heater on and the flap is closed the left side is open so I opened up the electronic box and there's only One arm what else should I check
The cable is a hard one not a wire cable

You'll need to get under the car and check the flapper.
If it looks like this picture the heat is off.......if the slots are closed the heat is on.
