Anyone have any idea what this part is?

I'm looking for the part the arrows are pointing to. I'd love to find a part number, but a part name would be nice too. Hope someone know or have a spare :)

Oh Haha 05-08-2015 02:00 PM

I would call that the steering wheel mounting hub. I don't believe that it is available seprate from the wheel.

Why do you feel you need a new one?

minhnugen 05-08-2015 04:36 PM

The one I just bought used did not come with one:(
That's why I'm hunting for one.

Weird.

As far as I know, it is molded into the wheel itself

Maybe others can be more help to you.

Are you looking for the turn signal cancelling ring?

And horn contact ring.

Thank you for all the responses.
Sorry for delay in responding. I don't have the wheel with me to snap a pic(traveling).
But the piece do come off the wheel. It has three holes for three screws. The center big hole has teeth to mate with the steering shaft. No it's no the Slip Ring for the horn and signals. But it's defin not built in to the wheel. It's made of aluminum....I think.
