Banjo fitting adapter needed for 86 fuel pump
Where can I get a banjo fitting adapter (M10 Banjo bolt) with a barbed end for a 9mm fuel line? I'm making my own lines for a 914 conversion, and could probably even use an old original 911 line if I could get the adapter and modify it. If anyone has one laying around, let me know.
I have the tools and have rebuilt the fuel lines on the engine, and that worked out great. Just need this piece to finish the puzzle. The adapter on there right now isn't the right one and is leaking. Thanks much, Dion

![]() ![]() Here is a M10 Banjo bolt with 7-8 mm hose fitting....... ![]() A 9mm hose is too big for this assy. I will look thru my Cohline catalog, but I think a M12 or M14 Banjo is correct for the 9mm hose you need to use. The banjo fitting on CIS pumps is 12mm.
I was going to switch to a Walbro pump recently, (which needs 10mm fittings), and I too needed a 10mm banjo due to the way the pump/lines were mounted. I gave up after looking for 2-3 days and bought a new Bosch pump, and it came with a brand new check valve and banjo fitting, 12mm. Perhaps if you look on some fuel pump websites you can find a 10mm right angle fitting or something . . . . .

![]() ![]() Heres what I found........... The M10 Banjo (shown in photo above) is available for 7-8 mm hose. The M12 Banjo is available for either 7-8 mm hose or 9-10 mm hose. The M14 Banjo is only available for 9-10 mm hose. I have lots of unique fittings, ![]() but not in the combination you are asking for. Sorry, Len@autosportengineering.com ![]() |

Thanks guys. The bolt is actually a 10mm thread, but the banjo fitting itself is 12mm o.d. So a friend of mine has an SC parts car, and he is going to remove the old fitting which I can then R&R onto my pump.

![]() ![]() If you mean the body of the bolt is 12mm w/ 10mm threads, then we can buy the 12mm Banjo from Porsche once we have a PN. I can also get the banjos from Cohline if I buy a qty of 100. Plus we can now buy the Walbro fuel pump at 20% cost of the Bosch. Len ![]() Last edited by BoxsterGT; 12-11-2008 at 06:01 PM.. |
