Contacting BoxsterGT (Len Cummings)
Any insights for getting ahold of Len about rebuilding some fuel lines? Tried emailing - no response. PM box is full. Is he still building lines? Anyone talk to him lately?

As far as i know he is, he made me a set of lines for my SC around the time of Hershey last year. I got in touch with him via phone here:
Porsche service repair Auto Sport Engineering - Stow, MA He takes a bit of time to respond but his work is second to none. I saw him post on here within the last 48 hours so he seems like he is around. Regards Dave

Thanks everyone. The email I used was len_at_autosportengineering_dot_com. Is that what others are using?

He is building a house out in remote parts and does not have access to the internet while he is there.
Persistence and patience are the watchwords here. |

Yes, that is correct. Len may take a couple of days to get back to you. But, once he contacts you he will follow through with any questions you have about your needs. I replaced all my fuel lines in support of my EFI conversion. He uses the original German hose fittings and German fuel hose that is rated for ethanol use.

Yep, he's still out there. As the others said, give him a few days. I just received a new line from him a couple of weeks ago.

![]() ![]() Got back to Mass this afternoon and found this thread. Sorry guys but I do not have cell & internet yet up North. I am in the process of building a cabin in the woods, and progress is very slow with my limited funds and now the cold weather. One difficulty I have is connecting the Pelican name with the surname. Often times a message gets into the spam folder before I have a chance to confirm what it is, especially when the subject is left blank. LuftWaffle - What's your surname and how can I help you? ![]() ![]() J - I looked back to find your email. Last time we spoke was March, 2013. I often cannot remember Pelican names vs Given names so please identify yourself when emailing me. Sent a reply but will also explain here so others may know as well. I am only able to make Polyamid tunnel lines with M14 Male Cone fittings unless you send me your old Flare fittings as in bottom photo. ![]() The original Porsche lines for late SC's and 3.2 Carreras use a M14 Male Flare (or Bullet) fitting that I cannot buy anywhere. ![]() In addition, the Green Steel hardlines for these models are NLA from Porsche, so the only replacements must be hose using M14 Male & Female fittings. I am happy to help. Please email me only. Len at Autosportengineering dot com ![]() |

I just finished installing my new fuel lines, from Len.
I have had my 911sc for 5 years, now no more whiff of fuel smell, when left with the windows closed. They fit perfectly. Thank you Len! Jeff 1982 911sc |
