1982 911SC Factory alarm issue
The alarm horn beeps momentarily when the door is opened or closed. I'm fairly certain that one of the 2 wires from the keyed switch on the drivers door is faulty. I suspect that the wire is momentarily open when the door opens or closes. Can I simply disconnect the alarm horn so that I don't hear it. Or, will this somehow disable the alarm control module and in turn disable the fuel pump.

That and/or consider removing the entire crappy system. I did. Couldn't believe the amount of wires involved.

How do I remove the entire system? I've read about disabling the system - jumper 61 to 61 and 15 to 87A which I assume is on the connector. Is this what you mean? If I just disconnect the alarm horn, will this have the same result?

I was lazy having twins at the time, or the ex was. I had an old school stereo/alarm guy yank it. Worth every penny.
