SC CIS Question
I really don't know where to post this, so I'll try it here. What is the value of this system? I will be selling my car soon, and need a value so I can tell potential buyers what it would cost them to buy one. And sorry, but I'm not parting it out. Thanx

They come up on the parts forum from time to time. Try a search there for most recent data.

All you need is a handfull of ebay adds.
There was one out there yesterday that had no intake runners asking price $700. You don't need sales price, just asking. I bet $1,000 is a fair value for a working system with "box" integrity. |
I bought a complete CIS system on e-bay about 7 years ago and paid just under $300
|
And I bought a complete '80 CIS system on the board last year for ~400. Sounds like I got a deal!
|
OK, Thanx. I'll just say it's 1000+ dollar value. That seems about right.

no popoff valve- not a good sign.
with CIS unless it has been rebuilt, cleaned, tested, or is on the car every thing is questionable. all you have there really is a fuel dist, air box and AAR. the boot on top looks good and the system looks clean |
Value of anything is strictly a matter of how much the person with their wallet in their hand wants what you're selling...

Knowledgeable buyer will be interested if the Lambda box , WUR, decel, etc, are still around. |
