I need some help with this bumper

New to porsche and I need to take my bumper off for paint. Can someone tell me how to get to the bolts so I can remove it.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1432665327.jpg

I know it's not stock yes it's fiberglass. No bolts near fog lights already tried all the obvious spots no luck yet.

I have a somewhat similar looking f/g front bumper. The bumper has 4 bolts embedded in f/g that are rear facing - these have 4 nuts holding them on - they connect the bumper up to the impact struts - you should be able to see struts if you look from underneath around turn signals. There should also be 1 or 2 nuts and bolts holding each side near wheel archeshttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1432668027.jpg

Found the bolts now I have to figure out how to get them off. This is one major pain in the ass or a 10 to 15 curse word job!

Can't get them, one just spins and can't get wrench on the other one, this is ridiculous.

Yep, working on these cars is an adventure. On a few projects I have spent several days removing one screw. go slow and in the end the time it took will be worth it.

Try the other end of the bracket, where it attaches to the car. There are also several bolts on the sides that bolt to the fenders.

I'm gonna have to cut the bumper to get it off, I'm painting and I wanna do it right and remove front fenders, bumper et. I don't know if I can take the fenders off without removing the bumper first. Not a very good design I guess I'll start looking for a stock bumper.

I wouldn't cut it yet. Find and remove the bolts that connect the fenders to the bumper. Then remove. The rest of the fender fasteners and remove the fenders. You will then have much better access to the remaining bumper bolts.

I'll try it

Just realize that you will also need a valance (below the bumper, contains the fog lights). It mounts independent of the bumper.

Once my portable garage shows up I'll put it up on jack stands remove fenders and see if I can get bumper off. If I'm not successful I guess I'll have to spend more money.
