Must Defeat Interior Rattles
Okay, so it might be hopeless, but there are a few that are killing me. The first one is the passenger door panel which rattles when the speaker in the door "hits." I'm sure that i can glue it together or make a bracket for the part that has cracked where the pocket meets the door handle itself. Secondarily, and the one which i don't have any real plan on how to attach is the ash tray. it seems to be slightly too loose in its housing and when i made a push at it to get it back into the dash snugly, it moves back out again over time. any thoughts on how to make sure that it stays put. I'd also be interested in any other rattle fighting techniques that have been employed. Other thoughts include new rubber for the door surrounds and maybe yanking the door panels all together for RS America type.
thanks for all the input. db

No help here on the door, but try bending the snubber of the
ash tray up a bit, I think take it all the way out first, bend it up and see if that helps.
