911sc centre dash trim options
Has anyone recovered, replaced or remade their centre dash trim on an SC? Ive done a few searches and can't find too much on this. Id like to get some options for a factory style finish.
The centre trim around the radio and blower controls on my 79 is a bit mis shapen and torn. Its a RHD car so I'm finding it hard to locate a good quality used piece. The dealer also wants 500 for the part. Thanks |

Replaced the CDT on my 964. Removed the HVAC controls, radio, cig lighter, and accessory switches. The piece is glued to the metal dash.
I purchased 2 used pieces, $50 and $100, and installed the better of the two. Looks fine - never know it has been replaced. Glad to further comment. |

Well...here you go guys! It took me all bloody day ..never trimmed before but this was by far one of the trickiest and most time consuming thing to do in my restoration journey so far.
At the end of the day I was proud of what the end result with and hope it ties in with the rest of my interior! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
