changing difficult spark plug

Its that time again to tune my car up. From the time I got the motor(bought used 3 l and installed in 77 911) the # 1 spark plug has been difficult to remove and difficult to install( possibly cross threaded threads). The other cylinders are fine. I have searched and read other threads about this issue. What is the concensus about dealing with this situation, cold, warm, hot removal? Lubercating with pb blaster, kroil fro removal. copper anti seize on this plug only when installing for easier future removal? I have read Lots of differant opionions.

Ever considered running a spark plug thread chaser in there? You can buy one or you can just make one out of a spark plug

If #1 is the plug on the driver side back then you may need a porsche socket?. I was at my mechanic shop while he was taking the plugs out, the guy couldnt get this one plug out until another mechanic asked if he tried a specific porsche socket. once he got that it came out fine...dont know more then that but might help you.

Haven"t run a thread chaser down there, I may have to do that. Any worries about getting filings in the combustion chamber? I do have the Porsche spark plug socket and use it. It is a great tool for removing the plugs.
