Velvet Upper Door Seal, glue or not?

Can't find info within the Collective Hive-Mind search function:

Gonna replace the upper door velvet. I'll reuse the screws and washers but: should I use 3M trim adhesive as well?

No need to glue in my opinion. There are like 11 little screws and washers holding it down. I had to trim the back end off with a dremel, as it was slightly too long. When I removed the old ones they were not glued on.

No glue was on mine from the factory. I did not glue the new one.

Much appreciated! Wasn't sure if they were glued in along with the screws (I haven't removed the old velvets yet).
