Will my 17" wheel fit under the hood?

For all of those who have RSR replicas and are wondering if upsized 17"x wide wheels will fit where the spare goes here is the answer:

This is a 1973, and the hood closed perfectly.

My wife had a flat on her truck and my 911 RSR was used as the service vehicle to run it to the shop for repair.
Size = 22 x 265. (I don't think a 275 would fit)

Should have seen the look on the tire guy's face. He came out and asked if I had wheel locks on the car thinking it was was of my wheels. and was puzzled when I opened the hood and he saw this instead of an engine.
