993 Rear view Mirror seal replacement
 

Hi Porschephiles, as there are no stupid questions on this forum, can you confirm or help...... To replace the electric rear view mirror seals mounted on the outside of the doors, do I undo this rubber grommet and it will come apart plus undo wiring.....or do I need to take the door cards off and go from the inside? I always like to ask PRIOR to starting the project.

Measure twice and cut once principle.
