Mfi Help
Hi guys,
I recently bought some MFI 911T bodies off felow Pelicaner Jeff. They were in great shape but I want to replace the throttle plates & bearings. To end up with a smooth barrel, my engine builder wants to have them bored out to 40mm. I cant seem to find replacement plates anywhere, and being in South Africa means that shipping cost etc is prohibitive for sending the entire units back over for refurb. Webcon sells 40mm plates (5deg), built to the Weber IDAs, but im not sure if this work with the MFI being 7 deg, or if the 40mm plate is the right thing for a 40mm bored out barrel for that matter. ![]() Help ![]() Last edited by petercoetzee; 06-06-2015 at 10:50 AM.. |

Contact Aaron Burnham; BurnhamPerformance.com Burnham Performance
He can help you. MFI throttle plate ellipse angle is 84 degrees, Webers are 78 degrees for the triple throat versions.
