Anybody know SC lug pattern and backspacing specs!

Just looking for some cheap autox wheels, and was thinking about some old steel junker's. Is our lug pattern the same as some standard 5 lug stuff, and what's the backspacing on my 16" fuch's? Thanks for any help.

Off the top of my head, I remember the lug circle to be 5 x 130mm on the Fuchs. The offset of a 7 x 16" wheel is 23mm, so the backspacing is ~4-7/8".

Remember that you are going to have to change lug nuts as well, as you shouldn't use alloy nuts with steel wheels. Most aftermarket steel wheels will not have the same radiused lug nut seat as Porsche uses, either, and they are not likely to be hub-centric.

Most people I know in your situation just buy a cheap set of 7 x 15" ATS cookie cutters for their autox wheels, although you should be able to fit up to 9" Fuchs with a 245 tire in the rear of your SC, and that does begin to cost some $$$$.

Good luck,
TT
