New Pelican Member - does size matter?

Just wanted to post a picture of what is probably the youngest Pelican family member.

Here is my second son who is 11 days old today with a few of his toys. For size comparison purposes, those are 2 1:18 scale model cars (911's of course!).

For all the Dad's out there, remember when they were this small and did nothing but eat and sleep?

And just to keep this on topic, my wife and I will be going out for a 2 hour ride today in our 911 once Grandma and Grandpa get here.

Sleep? What's that?

Congratulations, looks like you are bringing him up right.

Doug Congrats!!!

Remeber now as he grows , you are to teach the little man The Proud racing History of PORSCHE. I fear this may be a long lost part of the marques History. So don't let it die out. teach him and teach him well.

Will his first car be pop's old 911??

Doug:

The best part is that we won't have to jack the cars up as high now . . . in fact he can probably just slide right under there.

See you and the new guy soon.

Having been in Doug's house a few times, I can attest that his kids live on planet Porsche. Congrats Doug. You may need a Pfefferwagen to carry the big family around now.

16? I'm 34, and all I do is eat, sleep, work, and drive my Porsche.

Work no longer precedes purchasing a 911

Congrats again Doug! So, when your two boys are a little older, are you going to let them use your 911 models for a NoVA Fun Run throughout the house?

Porsche Crest Congrats!!

My little guy just started walking last week! You remember that there's more to life than our cars when these things happen.

That is the cutest little dude you have there- congrats.

Thanks for the all responses guys.

"Porsche Planet" as Richard put it would not have been created with-out the consent and support of my wife. Unfortunately for her she now has to put up with 3 kids, one being myself!

The teaching of the Porsche Heritage has already begun and will continue. Since I already have promised our current 911 to my first son (I was non-committal when, however), I guess this means we will have to buy another 911 for this son.

Fun Run's with Daddy's toys are a daily thing in our house. How do you think I came up with the idea for the big boys?

I too hope that everyone enjoys each and every moment with their children because there are some things in life which you can never relive.

Best to all -
