Best way to mount:

Stock sliders from your existing seats?
New Recaro flat sliders?
New Recaro "tab" sliders (to allow seat angle adjustment...is this necessary)?
Other suggestions?

If cost is an object, by far the easiest is to just bolt on the stock sliders. The seat will operate exactly like the stock seat, and it costs nothing.

The Recaro flat sliders are probably the least efficient use of money. They operate the same as the stock sliders (with the exception that both rails lock - not a big deal to me).

I don't know anything about the "tab" sliders. If they allow for adjustment of the bottom seat angle, I'd be concerned that the "tab" sliders may generally make the seat sit up higher (to accomodate the additional mechanism). Not a good thing if you are anywhere near 6 feet.

I find that the stock bottom is at the right angle for me. I would not adjust it from its stock position even if I could (I have both the stock sliders and the Recaro flat sliders, and have tried them both).

I have an 89 3.2 coupe with 2 Recaro SRD's. I used the Recaro sliders along with an adaptor bracked the allows the retainment of the inner seat belt mount. My car originally had sport seats that had the adjustment mechanism along with the inner seat belt mount in the seat itself. Once the seat is removed, you have to provide for an anchor to the inner seat belt latch. You can also adjust the rake of the seat with the brackets, not with the sliders. The downside is that is takes away headroom. This is bad if you are tall and wear a helmet. The brackets along with the seats and sliders I got from www.daveturner.com. if your interested.
