What the hell is this..
 
After installing a rebuilt starter in my '86 3.2, I noticed this dangling-

( bright spot is a reflection or something,

It looks sorta like the end that goes from the throttle switch to the end of the cruise control servo.

It's the Speedo sensor wire and grommet.
