Genuine Porsche windshield seal
Does anyone know definitely if this is what the tag looks like on a genuine Porsche windshield gasket? The writing is in German and on the bottom left is says "Made in Germany"

According to our sponsor, that part number is produced by an OEM supplier so it is not a Genuine Porsche part. Doesn't mean it's bad, but I see that it receives only 3 out of 5 stars in the reviews. Our sponsor also notes that it has been replaced by 911 541 225 04. I didn't look that one up. Also if you read beyond the German you'll see the part description in English.

Has anyone used this OEM seal and had any success?

Yes, in reviewing my orders from Pelican, I purchased this exact same product in September 2013 and used it when I had to replace my windshield during a head liner replacement project.
I have had not problems with fitment or leaking although I seldom drive my car in the rain on purpose! Tom |

For any make, I would highly recommend the factory seal over the non-factory unit.
