Anyone ship a bumper?

Who did you use? Greyhound is not an option for the shipper.....

Has to go cross country. Prices you paid and carriers please.

I used greyhound $78 probably the cheapest option. Why can't your seller use greyhound?

Too far a drive for the seller and he is unwilling to do that. My concern is the size and who will take THEN price.

Just received a pair of early fiberglass bumpers. GA to TX was $100 on Greyhound. Quote about $180 from Fedex.

They will take it. It won't be cheap since it is considered oversize.

I received a couple of fiberglass RSR bumpers via greyhound. No problems as the shipper did a good job boxing them up.

Guys the issue here is the seller does not want to drive, pack, or ship the bumper. He is unwilling to go to Greyhound. (I've talked to him about the same bumper.)

Joe Bob, I think you should find a Pelican that's attending Hershey and do a pickup that way. I want that bumper also but you got to it before me

I passed on the bumper as the seller wasn't accommodating.

I shipped Greyhound once, requested by the buyer, to save money. I got to the downtown terminal with a large package, bunch of workers stared at me, no offer to help with even holding the door. As I'm leaving, I hear the package drop, going over a wall. Agent looks at me and says, I hope you're not worried about that. Package was being shipped from CA to PA. Package got lost along the way, buyer was upset with the delay and agents were not able to locate the package. Customer service agents are the same ones that sell bus tickets, sometimes the phones just ring. It finally showed up 2 weeks late. I was told, if there isn't any room on the bus, it doesn't go on.

I'm the seller
Greyhound - drive 45 minutes. Park in parking garage. Shlep package into terminal. Deal with moron greyhound people. Drive home. Done it once. Never again. Not for a $250 bumper. Would like to accommodate joe bob. Maybe someone can pickup for him at Hershey. Mark.
