Track Session Video in Modified 930
 
Join along for my recent track ride at Castrol Raceway on the weekend in a highly modified Porsche 930. The car was driven by a great young new pro driver.

The video has nothing as a reference. Non other cars in front or behind, no data acquisition showing speed, rpm etc. looks fun but proves nothing.

I can make a video of the upper and lower ball joint replacement I just did on a 2001 GMC Jimmy.

Just as exciting.

Gee whiz guys, ease up! Nice car, nice sound, need for a mounted, anti-vibe camera, but I liked it.

I apologize if the "true experience" does not fully transfer through, but as a Porsche enthusiast I assure you it definitely impresses when in the car. One word "WOW".

Looks slower than what I see at a local autocross......completely unimpressed.

unfortunately, like i said, the camera does not do it justice. Seriously quick car

I look at video all the time. There is nothing impressive in that video. Maybe the car is a great track car. Maybe the driver is great. None of that was shown in the video.
