For something that valuable, I'd go with the original color.

Now, if I was to choose among original 1973 911RS cars, I would choose the canary yellow, light blue or tangerine. The reason being is because I like these colors and because these are kind of hippie era colors from the time these cars were built. Jose ![]()

Classic would be GP White/red
That chartreuse above is stunning, raspberry, only 4 in that color. Surprisingly, light yellow was the most popular.

White blue for me, just the right amount of pop but not over the top.

I chose GP white when I did my RS tribute. One look at that color in the catalog and I never looked back.
I think GP white with white script would be awesome. Frosted wheels, with white ghosted script. If you are looking to be totally authentic, then GP white with black script.

Why would you choose something that has been done before?

Banned but not out, yet..

You going to add up the votes and go with the winner? Seriously? Go with your gut. You have to have at least two favorites. Then flip a coin if it comes to that. Half the people here would have you blackout the wheels too. Not that there is anything wrong with wheels that look like they are caked in brake dust and never washed. If anything go the the Early 911S Registry site and ask the early car set rather than a more impact bumper oriented group if you want more period correct answers. If that is not a concern then go with what you like because there will never be a consensus
