Going...going....gone

After 8-years of ownership, it's time to say goodbye to my old 911 Turbo-Look coupe. I would like to thank Wayne at PP for providing this wonderful forum, and to the whole Porsche community for all your support and assistance over the years. I would never have attempted some of my projects if it weren't for the great knowledgebase this site offers.

Stay safe,

Trog

That is a seriously good looking car. The next guy that gets to look after that is a lucky man. I was laughing thinking that probably the only thing that has gone in value over the past 8 years like an M491 would be Vancouver real estate. Well done all around. Cheers

Beautiful car!

You guys loaded the car on the trailer in not the best way. Most of the weight is hanging aft of the axles....so the tongue weight is way off.

Are you saying the car should be more forward? Does the rear engine go above the trailer wheels for more stability?

The car needed to more forward or loaded engine end first.

Someone not long ago, a car delivered and was on the trailer a$$ first. Whaletail was ripped off. Car not designed to have flow "backward".

Not an issue with that trailer......and, if any bodywork had an issue at normal road speeds going backwards, there is problem with said bodywork.

Sorry to see you leave the fold Jack! Tha Soobie kicked out the 911😱
No doubt you've looked at all your other options; how do you feel about the Cayman?

I don't think I'd ever own a Porsche cooled by H2O.

Also, no change in the tags. Did it not change hands or do the tags follow the car in Canada?

The plates stay with the owner here, not the car, AFAIK. I'm in a different province though, could be different in BC, or he may have just used the last sellers pictures.
