Suggestions on recently purchased 1977 911 S

A few weeks ago I purchased a 1977 S with 129,000 mi from my uncle. Unfortunately, the car is not running and had been sitting in his garage for the past 15+ years. He stopped driving it due to ignition issues and it turned into one of those "I'll get to it next weekend projects."

Here's some background info...

Not too long before it stopped running, he installed a new clutch, new alternator, pop-off valve, steering box and chain tensioners. At some point it looks like whoever owned it before him tried to somewhat address the heat issues. What makes me think this is because, the Thermal Reactors are replace with what looks like some sort of headers, the EGR system is removed, it has a front mounted oil cooler, and has a Whales Tail with an oil cooler mounted to it. It also have Carrera valve covers. It does have the 5 bladed fan and at some point I will replace it with the 11.

Concerns....

I am concerned with the stud issue that these are known for. Especially not knowing whether or not it has already been specifically addressed. I have read a few articles stating that most of these engines didn't last much longer than 60,000 to 70,000 miles if the heat and stud issues were not addressed. I know it impossible to tell unless I take the engine apart and look for myself. Any ideas or suggestions?

About a week ago I started trying to get the car running again and am working on ignition and fuel. I replaced the CD box and coil with MSD and installed a tach adapter. What spark plug wire does everyone recommend with the MSD system?

Also, my fuel tank has rust in it. This issue has already been addressed once when my uncle had it. Should I buy a new tank or should I try to treat it? It seems fine structurally.

Sorry for being so long winded.. Any ideas and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
