1981 911sc - Back in the family

I picked this up from a family friend two weeks ago. My father had purchased the car with a couple thousand miles on it in 1981 (I was 2 years old). He sat me on his lap as a kid and let me "drive" down our street. I drove it to junior prom. My father passed away unexpectedly in 2000. Out of necessity I sold it to a family friend (PSA - Buy Life Insurance!). The friend kept the car in good running condition for the past 15 years. Now it's back in it's rightful home. Needs some fresh paint on the rims and new interior but otherwise runs and drives great! Interesting factoid - the my father's plates said ALL NOW. In 1983 (we know this from the registration tags in the picture) someone took a picture of the back of the car and turned it into a greeting card. My father and I were in a store one day and saw his car/license plate on a postcard. We bot every card in the store and their back room. Also, Herb Caen (San Francisco writer) wrote a story about a Porsche he saw with the ALL NOW plates. It was a commentary on 80's excess.
