Which Hot Air Ducts for heat backdate?

I want to back date the heat on a 3.2 Carrera. Can some tell the parts I need for the left and right hot air ducts each side of the main engine cooling fan. Also where is the best place to buy them?

Many thanks

Hi Pete, when I backdated the heat on my SC, I posted in the classifieds. Here's a guy who might have at least the left side for your 3.2 that will clear your distributor HERE

I had to massage my left side with a rubber mallet to clear the diz, but it turned out perfectly and I love it.

Good luck. Cheers.

I was able to do a backdate on my 79 SC by modifying the passenger side block off plate. If you are interested in saving some money and don't mind it looking a little unorthodox, give it a look.

The 3.2 has cross-over pipe to direct air from the fan to the exchangers. that has to go away. Use the earlier SC style clamp on elbows on the exchangers and find a set of early shorter side tins and the short tins that have a hole for the big air hose to go through to the exchangers.
The right outlet that pelican sells is clocked too high to fit under the 3.2 aluminum A/C bracket, so you need to find an original one or get the 3 piece assembly from the dealer.

Related question: For the holes where the hoses pass through from the fan ducts to the heat exchangers below are there supposed to be gaskets or seals of some kind to keep the hoses from chafing on the steel edges?
