Dansk Sport Muffler, 50mm

Just confirming that For a 1977 911S Dansk Sport Muffler, 50mm duel out will be the correct muffler part # 92.510DUAL and that I don't have to make any alteration to the bumper.

Thanks,

Sam

You will need to cut a notch in the right side of the lower valance. No bumper mods.

Will the Dansk 92.501 sports muffler add a bit more sound and performance then stock?

You won't get much performance to speak of out of a muffler. Headers do that. Some people like drone and some don't. That's why I don't provide mufflers unless it's a Monty.

Be very careful in regards to getting a dual out muffler. They get very, very loud, very, very fast. The worst part like stated is drone. Before you go cutting things you might to do your research, and don't go by sound clips that people post, its the sound in the car that is the killer.
I had the dual in, single out sport and it was a great muffler, might want to go that route.

+1 on the dual out mufflers and noise. I have an M&K 2-out on my '72 and it drones with the revs under 3k. There is loud and then there is loud - it sounds cool at first, but it got old real fast. Don't know if the Dansk allows you to plug one outlet like the M&K does, but it is something to consider if you use the car for "normal" driving at all.

I have M&K 2in2out with this custom cap M&K made so I can cap one side. With the cap in place pipe is nice and no drone. With the cap off it's really loud and drones but sounds super mean above 3500RPMs. I cap it for long drives, very easy to remove the cap.
