Early 911 dual battery hold down options ?

Hello everyone,

Im still plugging on my 3.6 rs clone , and wanted to know if anyone out there has any pictures or methods of alternate battery hold downs for the front dual batterys , instead of the stock rubber strips ..

If you use another way , please post

thanks

Joe

You don't state which year you are dealing with but in a 1973 the OEM dual batteries setup uses metal straps to secure the batteries. The emissions system charcoal cannister was partially secured with a rubber strap in 1973 but not the batteries. Jim
