How to remove rear blower heater contact (under levers) for cleaning?

Only one half of my rear blower heater switch is working (passenger side). I cant for the life of me figure out how to remove it from the e-brake assembly to clean the contacts. Anyone have pics or a description? I really don't want to remove the seats if I can avoid it. Thanks!

What you will have to do is remove the rubber boot to start with, once that is removed, this will expose the e brake mechanism etc, from memory and it's been a while there are 3 13mm head bolts that you will have to remove, the entire assembly will the become loose, carefully pry it upwards and check that 1st one of the Ye low wires is still connected, failing that it's most likely the copper contacts on the handle that are bent or dirty, they may need a clean as dust certainly accumulates in those kind of areas. let me know how u get along.

Take the pivot bolt nut off and remove the stuff under it until you reach the switch part. some wiggling the bolt outward is necessary, but don't take it out any more than needed. The fiber discs tend to fall in the tunnel, so keep some needle nose pliers handy to grab them before they fall. No need to remove the brake assembly from the floor.
