On to the next owner-911SC sold

The 911 was picked up today for it's journey to The Netherlands and it's new owner.

Sad day for sure as I had fully intended to pass it down to my children. Life happens and you have to be able to change direction.

We have many great memories of adventures in the "hot rod". I do hope that we can get another 911(probably water-cooled) but time will tell.

I'm not leaving Pelican as I have made many friends here and feel that I can still offer technical advice.

As seems to be the protocol, some pics of it on the transport truck. The driver told us he was picking up another Porsche in PA to take to New Jersey but he didn't know what year or model.

The "neighbor" is not so much. The couple that lived there walked away from it a couple of years ago. The city keeps the grass cut but it has to be a certain height before they come out. The silver SUV in that driveway is mine. It's become a convenient parking lot for when we have company.
