several choices...I'm guessing '70 thru '73, but leave out '72...no external oil flap...and the door handles aren't right for '69. It's not '68 or earlier because of the torsion bar cover location in the rear...just a guess, mind you.

I can't believe I am actually going to post the following - what an anorak I have become...

- horn grilles are silver so it isn't a 73 either
- badge doesn't say 911T - may be E or S. The trim on the car isn't S trim, so it must be an E

So it is either a 69 911E or a 70/71 911E.

On the contrary, that is a swb car. I say '68.

What can I say? I tried....

I think this was more difficult to assemble than my 915 tranny

Maybe this should be a pre-requisite for anyone wanting to rebuild their engine? If you don't have the patients for this project then forget about tearing apart your engine....

Chuck's right - I am ashamed.

So it must be an S, 'cause E didn't come until '69 (I'm still an anorak!).

Wink Parts needed...

Hello;

Does anyone have any turbo flare and whale tail images they can post so I can do a turbo-look conversion. I'm planning on using special semi-composite paper to save weight. Meanwhile, I'm funding my project by selling my paper airplane. If anyone is interested, the airplane will be available for inspection this week. Serious offers only please...

The front end looks like Jack Olsons, it must be a '73.

It can't be any newer than 1968 because of the vertical bars on the engine grille. It can't be older than 1967 because of the model designation on the engine lid (pre-'67 has angled "911" on it. My guess is 1967 since there's no side markers. But the euro turn signals / taillight lenses might make this a euro '68.

Obviously, I have too much time on my hands!
